I Love the fact that we can vote so easily and without any fear whatsoever. And that no matter what the outcome and who wins the elections after the polls are closed that I had a chance to add my voice to the process.
Yes – I did vote. It took me all of 5 minutes to walk into my voting place and to then cast my ballot. No, I won’t tell you who I voted for, but I will tell you who I didn’t vote for: Bob Barr, Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader. I’ll leave it at that.
What I will also tell you is that I was virtually undecided until the last minute. These past couple of weeks I have been going back and forth between Obama and McCain and I made my decision late last night while I saw the Washington Redskins get spanked by the Steelers.
I was hoping that this post would be re-cap of all the anecdotes and fun stuff that I heard while waiting in line at the polls, but thnakfully I live in what apparently is a very well oiled polling district. I literally walked in, showed my drivers license and was out in a matter of minutes.
